Policies & Terms
For all new clients wanting to book an appointment at Papillon Hair, please be advised that a $50.00 deposit payable by credit card is required at the time of making your booking. This deposit is then deducted from the total cost of your service fee on the day of your appointment. If the new client doesn't show up for their scheduled appointment, they will forfeit the $50 deposit fee.
We send you an appointment confirmation via text 3 days prior to your appointment as a reminder. You will be required to reply to the confirmation text saying ‘yes’ if you will attend, or ‘no’ if you release your appointment with at least 24 hours notice. If we do not receive confirmation from you for your appointment either via text, phone or email we will try to get in touch with you, if we can’t get in touch with you within 24 hours of your appointment we will have to cancel your booking.
Adjustments to bookings
Although we understand that sometimes plans change, in order to ensure that all of our appointment times are fully utilised, we ask that any adjustments to your appointment times are made by telephone with at least 24 hours notice. Changes outside of business hours can be done so by leaving a voicemail message or send us an email. If you decide on the day to not have one of the services you are booked in for, you will be charged 50% of the service fee.
We reserve a space specifically for you at your chosen time. If you cancel within less than 24 hours, you will forfeit your deposit for the time you reserved. We take a full deposit for all styling services and an estimated half of your colour and cut services.
Christmas bookings & cancellation
We will be taking an estimated 50% appointment fee for all December & January appointments. which will be deducted off your service upon your appointment. This will be a non-refundable fee if cancellation is less than 24 hrs before your scheduled appointment. As a small business our Christmas appointments are very precious to our clientele, without sufficient notice we cannot fill the spot we reserved for you. Thank you for your understanding.
No show appointments affect the day to day running of our business, as a result we have had to put parameters and fees in place, you will be required to pay $50 deposit upon your next booking. Two 'no shows' will result in a required full pre-payment of your missed treatments, otherwise you will be unable to make any future appointments, however walk-ins are welcome.
We do understand things sometimes happen with traffic etc. If you are running late, you may have your treatment time shortened to avoid inconveniencing the client that has a booking after you, however if you run more than 15 minutes late, we cannot guarantee you that we can fit your appointment in and will have to re- schedule for a later date.
