Stephen is our incredible salon manager. Trained in the Eastern Suburbs, he made the move to the Northern Beaches and brought over 10 years of hairdressing experience with him. His hairdressing journey has taken him from salons to the catwalk, on photo shoots, and around the world. He is known and loved for his killer cuts, razor skills, stunning upstyles and the magic he can make with short hair. 

Stephen is a two time Australian Cutting Competition winner, and now also specialises in luxury blondes, creating the perfect highlights and big long hair blowouts. There’s nothing he can’t achieve for his clients. Book in and you’ll soon see for yourself!

Stephanie Forster is a rising star at Papillon Hair, with a deep passion for creating magical transformations on the salon floor. Her motivation and absolute love for her job are evident in her work.

As a local of the Northern Beaches, Stephanie has developed a genuine affinity for all things hair. Her positive and caring attitude towards her clients and craft consistently delivers stunning results. She excels in creating perfect blonde foils, and her cutting skills are highly regarded. Stephanie is also known for her exceptional blowouts, leaving clients with a flawless finish.

Stephanie's commitment to continuous growth is evident through her attendance at numerous courses throughout the year. She has even had the privilege of participating in two fashion weeks, including this year's 2023 fashion week as a member of the esteemed Original Mineral team.

Having owned her own salon in South Australia for 5 years, she knows the ins and outs of the industry like no other.

Specialising in blondes, balayage, and lived-in colour, she has a keen eye for creating stunning looks that perfectly complement her clients' features and personalities. But her dedication doesn't stop at aesthetics; she's deeply passionate about maintaining the health and integrity of her clients' hair while helping them achieve their hair goals.

Beyond the salon chair, you'll often find her outdoors, soaking up the sun at the beach with her husband and adorable 1-year-old daughter. Being an active member of Avalon's community, she finds joy in connecting with others and making a positive impact wherever she goes.

With her talent, experience, and warm personality, Claudia is excited to bring her signature touch to Papillon Hair and help our clients look and feel their absolute best!

With over 10 years of experience, Blair specialises in blondes, balayage, rich brunettes, and precision cutting, particularly for big transformations. She is passionate about keeping hair healthy and creating styles that enhance your natural features. Blair’s personal motto is: “Hair should enhance your features and always feel healthy!”

Blair’s infectious personality and radiant energy light up the salon, making every appointment a joy. Outside the salon, she loves cooking, music festivals, and anything animal-related. A former makeup artist and self-proclaimed extrovert, Blair enjoys connecting with people and sharing great conversations.

Welcome Nina to the Papillon team! With over a decade of experience in the industry, Nina brings a calm confidence and a deep passion for beautiful hair. Whether it’s a subtle refresh or a bold transformation, she loves helping clients feel their best — inside and out. Specialising in precision cuts and vibrant colour, Nina is all about creating a personalised salon experience from the moment you walk in to the moment you leave.

Meet Shantelle – our calming, creative senior stylist at Papillon Hair.
With years of experience and a gentle, nurturing touch, Shantelle brings a beautifully relaxing energy to the salon. She’s passionate about creating hair that feels fresh, natural, and totally you – whether it’s a soft lived-in blonde, a rich brunette refresh, or a classic cut with a modern twist.

Clients love her warm, thoughtful approach and attention to detail. Shantelle is now taking bookings and can’t wait to welcome you in her chair.

SALON CO-ORDINATOR

Heidi is our fabulous front-of-house all-rounder. With experience in the hair industry and a love for all things fashion, she’s a true multitasker – from taking your calls and making the perfect coffee to giving a luxe basin experience and keeping everything running smoothly on the salon floor. Heidi’s warm, welcoming nature helps every client feel instantly at home the moment they step through our doors.

SECOND YEAR APPRENTICE

Kayley is our bubbly and SUPER creative second-year apprentice with a passion for all things hair and makeup. She’s already known for her ultimate blow-dries, flawless tints, and the best basin massage you’ll ever experience.

Always eager to learn, Kayley is soaking up everything from colour to cutting – and brings a fun, fresh energy to the salon every day. When she’s not at Papillon, you’ll find her exploring new places, diving into her art (she loves colouring in!), loves music and all things art.
