All Clients

For all clients wanting to book an appointment at Papillon Hair, please be advised that a 75% of estimated deposit payable by credit card is required at the time of making your booking. This deposit is then deducted from the total cost of your service fee on the day of your appointment. If the client doesn't show up for their scheduled appointment, they will forfeit the 75% deposit.

Confirmation

We send you an appointment confirmation via text 3 days prior to your appointment as a reminder. You will be required to reply to the confirmation text saying ‘yes’ if you will attend, or ‘no’ if you release your appointment with at least 48 hours notice. If we do not receive confirmation from you for your appointment either via text, phone or email we will try to get in touch with you, if we can’t get in touch with you within 48 hours of your appointment we will have to cancel your booking. 

Adjustments to bookings

We understand that plans sometimes change, but in order to ensure that none of our appointment times are wasted, we ask that any adjustments are made by telephone with at least 48 hours notice. Changes outside of business hours can be done so by leaving a voicemail message or sending us an email. If you decide on the day to not have one of the services you are booked in for, you will be charged 75% of the service fee.

Cancellations

We reserve a space specifically for you at your chosen time. If you cancel within less than 48 hours, you will forfeit your deposit for the time you reserved. We take a full deposit for all styling services and an estimated half of your colour and cut services.

Christmas bookings & cancellation

We will be taking an estimated 100% appointment fee for all December and January appointments which will be deducted off your service upon your appointment. This will be a non-refundable fee if cancellation is less than 48 hrs before your scheduled appointment. As a small business our Christmas appointments are very precious to our clientele, without sufficient notice we cannot fill the spot we reserved for you. Thank you for your understanding.

No Shows

No show appointments affect the day-to-day running of our business, as a result we have had to put parameters and fees in place. You will be required to pay a full deposit upon your next booking, otherwise you will be unable to make any future appointments. However, walk-ins are still welcome. 

Running Late

If you are running more than 5 minutes late, you may have your treatment time slightly shortened to avoid inconveniencing the client that has a booking after you. If you’re delayed by more than 15 minutes, we cannot guarantee you that we can fit your appointment in and might have to reschedule for a later date.
