FOUNDER & DIRECTOR
With over 20 years of industry experience, Deborah founded Papillon Hair with a vision to create more than just a salon. She set out to build a beautiful, welcoming space where exceptional hairdressing, sustainability and genuine client care come together.
Today, Deborah's passion lies in leading the Papillon team and nurturing the salon's culture. Every stylist has been carefully selected and mentored to share her commitment to creativity, education and delivering a personalised experience that exceeds expectations.
From the moment you walk through the doors, every detail reflects Deborah's dedication to creating a space where clients feel relaxed, confident and truly cared for. While her focus is now on guiding the business behind the scenes, her vision continues to shape every part of the Papillon experience.
Stephen
MASTER STYLIST & MANAGER
With nearly 20 years of experience, Stephen brings creativity, expertise and a passion for beautiful hair to the Papillon team. His career has taken him from leading salons and fashion shoots to the catwalk, building a reputation for exceptional cutting, styling and colour work.
A two-time Australian Cutting Competition winner, Stephen specialises in all aspects of hairdressing, creating personalised looks from precision cuts and curly hair to beautiful colour and the latest trending styles.
When he’s not behind the chair, Stephen enjoys getting creative in the garden, travelling to new destinations, renovating his home and spending quality time with his family.
Claudia
MASTER STYLIST
With over 14 years in the hair industry, Claudia brings a wealth of experience and a genuine passion for creating beautiful, healthy hair. Beginning her career at just 16 and later owning her own salon in South Australia, she has developed a true understanding of both the craft and the client experience.
A colour specialist with a love for blondes, balayage and lived-in colour, her approach combines beautiful results with a strong focus on maintaining the health and integrity of the hair.
Beyond hairdressing, Claudia enjoys spending time with her husband and two children, embracing the Northern Beaches lifestyle she loves.
Indy
SENIOR STYLIST
Having built her career on the Northern Beaches, Indy has a true passion for creating effortless, lived-in colour and beautiful, healthy hair journeys.
Known for her calm energy, attention to detail and genuine care, Indy creates a welcoming salon experience where every client feels relaxed, confident and looked after. Her passion for education and continued growth allows her to constantly refine her craft and deliver beautiful results.
When she’s not in the salon, Indy loves exploring Australia through road trips and camping adventures, always looking for her next place to discover.
Emma
SENIOR STYLIST
Known as Papillon’s signature blonde specialist, Emma is renowned for creating seamless, dimensional colour with a focus on longevity, movement and shine. Her eye for detail and understanding of blonde tones allows her to create beautiful, effortless results tailored to each client.
A long-hair expert, Emma specialises in Seamless Tape Extensions and creates personalised looks that enhance each client’s individual style.
Outside of the salon, Emma enjoys staying active at the gym, travelling, discovering new places to eat and making memories with friends.
Ivy
JUNIOR STYLIST & SOCIAL MEDIA MANAGER
Starting her hairdressing journey at just 15, Ivy has always had a passion for creativity and creating beautiful, natural-looking hair.
Ivy brings a thoughtful and creative approach to every appointment, taking the time to understand each client and create hair that feels effortless and personalised. Her passion for growth and dedication to refining her craft is reflected in the beautiful results she creates.
Beyond the salon, Ivy loves spending time with animals, exploring the world through travel and enjoying quality moments with her family and loved ones.
Kayley
JUNIOR STYLIST
Kayley is Papillon’s bubbly and creative junior stylist, bringing a fresh energy and genuine passion for all things hair and beauty. She is known for her beautiful blowdrys, flawless tints and creating a relaxing salon experience with her incredible basin massages.
Always eager to learn and grow, Kayley is developing her skills across colour and cutting while embracing every opportunity to expand her craft. Her creativity, enthusiasm and love for the industry shine through in every appointment.
Outside of her work life, Kayley loves attending music festivals, spending time with her puppies, exploring her creativity through makeup and art and discovering new places.
Mimi
BABY STYLIST
Mimi brings a bright and positive energy to Papillon, with a genuine love for hair and creating beautiful salon experiences. Passionate and dedicated to her training, she is constantly building her skills and embracing every opportunity to grow as a stylist.
With a natural talent for creating beautiful tints and a reputation for her relaxing basin rituals and incredible head massages, Mimi ensures every client feels their very best.
In her spare time, Mimi loves spending time with her cat, enjoying time with friends and embracing the little moments that make her smile.
