Papillon has been been in the hair game for 26 years
Founded by Deborah in 2012, Papillon was born from a simple belief: that a visit to the salon should be about more than beautiful hair. It should be time to slow down, feel cared for and leave feeling like your best self.
After beginning in Paddington, Papillon found its home along Avalon’s beautiful coastline in 2018. Today, our salon is a space where considered hairdressing, personalised service and a genuine love for what we do come together.
Inspired by the butterfly, Papillon embodies the beauty of transformation. From subtle changes to complete reinventions, every appointment is an opportunity to evolve, refresh and embrace something new.

Your satisfaction is our priority. If you have any concerns with your colour or cut, please contact our team as soon as possible. We offer a 2-week colour and cut guarantee and if an adjustment is required due to a service-related issue, we'll happily welcome you back for a complimentary refinement.

Yes. We happily welcome walk-in appointments whenever possible. If one of our stylists is available, we'll do our best to accommodate you on the day.

We offer a full range of professional hair services, including colour, foiling, balayage, haircuts, styling, extensions, smoothing treatments and personalised hair treatments.

Our stylists are grouped into different levels based on their experience, expertise and ongoing education: Advanced, Senior and Emerging. Pricing varies accordingly, while every guest receives the same personalised Papillon experience.
